Miami is starting to develop a strong art presence with several museums, galleries, and cultural event nights. Many of the museums and other art/cultural organizations offer free events. Using Culture Shock, students 13-22 can by tickets to many cultural events for $5. For those 62 and older, there is the Golden Ticket. So there is no excuse…get out there and immerse yourself !
Miami Museum Month usually takes place in May. Many museums offer special events, discounted membership, or free admission.

In addition to all of the art you can find at the museums and various art galleries around town, you will often spot art in various spots you visit, since Miami has a very active Art in Public Places program.
