Jennifer’s Yellow Pages

yellow-pages-logo2

Whether you are looking for a handyman, CPA, contractor, insurance or other referral to help keep your property in tip top shape and your taxes even better, refer to the Service Providers section of my Yellow Pages.  If you have someone to recommend please let me know!

There is so much more than service providers in these pages, however.  Need to know about marinas in the area?  You will find a list of them here.  How about pet-friendly places to visit or other pet related specialties?  Visit Pet Pages.  Golf Courses?  Activities to do when friends and family come to visit (you know they will…you are lucky enough to live in the place where people come to vacation!)?  All of that information and more are contained within these Yellow Pages.

There are several areas in South Florida that are pet friendly.  Coconut Grove, Miami Beach, South Miami, are the main ones.  In addition, there are parks and beaches specifically for dogs, doggy day cares, and places that offer yappy hour.  Although it may sound like it is mostly dog friendly, don’t be surprised to see people walking their Iguanas, birds, and other exotics.  This is South Florida, after all!

Dog Beaches

Hobie Beach, which is on the South side of Virginia Key on the Rickenbacker Causeway.  Open everday, free.

Hollywood Beach, between Pershing and Custer Streets.  Open 3-7pm, Friday-Sunday only.  Cost $30 for 6 months for residents, $60 for non-residents, or $5/day, $10/weekend.

Fort Lauderdale Canine Beach, at State Road A1A north of Sunrise Blvd., Open 5-9 pm, Friday-Sunday only.  $30 for annual permit for residents, $45 for non-residents, $7/weekend.
